DIL Optical – Sintering Point Tester (Optical Dilatometer)

The instrument is a high-temperature transmission projection device used for measuring sintering point, melting point, and refractoriness temperature of sand, glass, compounds, refractory materials, ceramic raw materials, and the surface contact angle of metals.

The tester enables clear observation of sample volume contraction, expansion, purification, complete spherification, and interface contact angle at high temperature on the display screen, along with the corresponding temperatures of these phenomena.

It provides a reliable basis for material selection in production and offers an essential testing method for scientific research and teaching.

The instrument is widely applied in casting, ceramics, glass industries, as well as in academic and research institutions.

Main Technical Parameters:

  1. Heating temperature: 1400°C or 1600°C (optional), Furnace diameter: 30 mm.
  2. Heating rate: 0–20 °C/min (adjustable). Controlled by intelligent PID; temperature accuracy: ±1 °C. Up to 32 programmable segments can be set.
  3. Image magnification: 8–9x. Imaging coordinates allow quantification of expansion and contraction data.
  4. Minimum temperature image storage interval: 1 °C (freely adjustable).
  5. CCD camera resolution: ≥ 10 megapixels.
  6. Supply voltage: 220V ±10%, 2.5 kW.
  7. Equipped with a standard computer interface; all tests are computer-controlled.
  8. Image processing software includes functions such as image storage, printing, contact angle analysis, expansion data analysis, and historical data query.
  9. Maximum sample size: 6 mm (diameter) × 8 mm (thickness), cylindrical or square. Customization available upon user request.
  10. Instrument Technology:
    - Sintering temperature measurement: Eyeballing method and image contraction method.
    - Refractoriness (melting temperature): Determined when the image becomes spherical, indicating melting or refractoriness.
